Sponsorship Information
On the 17th June 2003 we celebrate the 90th Anniversary Queens’
College May Ball, a biennial event, running between 8pm and 6am
the following morning. Renowned as one of the “big three”
Cambridge Balls, we expect to welcome some 1400 guests into the
beautiful surroundings of our 15th century college for an unforgettable
evening of exquisite food, a wide choice of drink and outstanding
entertainment.
The huge success of past balls has ensured the university-wide reputation of Queens’ May Ball. In order to maintain the high standards now expected of the Ball whilst minimising the costs for students, ensuring that the Queens’ Ball is accessible to people from all backgrounds, we are actively seeking sponsorship for the organisation and promotion of the evening. This sponsorship may take the form of a financial or material donation.
The Ball Committee would like to invite your company to take advantage of this unique and high profile venture by joining us as sponsors for the night. Obviously this is an excellent chance to promote your services and products to an active group of young consumers or potential future employees.
We offer the opportunity to advertise on our publicity material, which includes a flyer sent to each one of the 15000 Cambridge students, and on our website.
There are also possibilities for to gain even greater exposure on the night itself through sponsorship of:
- A specific entertainment event within college (for example our main band tent or our spectacular fireworks display).
- A bar/ food area, with the opportunity for corporate advertising on glasses/plates
- Advertising space in the official programme, received by all Ball guests
- A prize for our casino
We are always willing to adapt sponsorship packages to suit different requirements and consider any offers of support that differ from those mentioned.
